Jessica Lucas' 2013 started with a sluggish start. In April of 2010, following some months of co-starring in Cult (which premiered February 19, 2013) it was cancelled. The CW showed all 13 episodes later on during the series. It's not an enjoyable situation to be a part of a popular series which is being cancelled this quickly. On the upside, her career on the big screen appeared to be growing by leaps and bounds. Jessica Lucas played the wife of American actor Michael B. Jordan in That Awkward Moment. The film was released early 2014. Problem is, she's been engaged and evidently is the one who has advantage in the relationship. Since it's a buddy film, the majority of the plot revolves around the trio leading me and I, however Lucas holds her own throughout every scene she appears participating in. Lucas also shines in her brief appearances in Paul W.S. Anderson period action-adventure film Pompeii. On the smaller screen she quickly found herself together with Shenae Grimes, AnnaLynne McCord and Jessica Stroup on four episodes of the updated 90210. The year 2009 saw her a part in the highly-successful reboot of popular 1990s television show Melrose Place as Riley Richmond the sweet teacher at an elementary school.
